The First Lady often accompanies her husband to events and yesterday was no exception as she walked side-by-side with her husband in at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The couple were attending the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As the couple stood on the field, Melania appears to quickly withdraw her hand from her husband as crowds cheer and chant at the couple.
Trump and Melania walk onto the field together not holding hands but the First Lady’s husband quickly grabs her hand in a loving gesture.
The couple walk across the field holding hands and then letting go of one another to clap and wave at the crowd.
But as the couple come to a stand still in the centre of the field, Melania quickly pulls her hand away and remains stoney-faced.
As Melania and Trump walk forward again, the President grabs her hand once again.
The First Lady was seen wearing a stunning navy metallic coat as she joined her husband yesterday.
The coat was a shiny, vinyl trench coat which she wore with a pair of killer high heeled boots.
The outfit was thought to come to a total of £1,198.

The long coat cut off at her knees and she covered up with a pair of knee-high boots.
The black suede shoes had a high stiletto heel and a slouchy fit, reportedly from Prada, with similar pairs costing £930.
The couple attended the football championship game that saw the LSU Tigers go up against the Clemson Tigers.
Twitter users were sent into meltdown over the awkward encounter between the couple.
