Cabin crew secrets: Flight attendant reveals shocking revenge for fliers they don’t like

Cabin crew can often seem to have a very easy job from the plane passengers’ point of view. Many people simply think they are there to smile and serve food. However, the role of a flight attendant is much more complex than that.

She explained that it’s all to do with the drinks crew will serve.

Kathleen herself had one go-to technique to exact revenge on travellers.

Surprisingly, it’s actually a relatively harmless tactic – but enough to cause annoyance if it was found out.

“I’ll take a cup and scoop in a lot of ice, and when I pour the soda or juice in, there’s, like, two tablespoons!” she told the NY Post.

Kathleen explained she called the ‘cocktail’ “The ‘A**hole Special.”

The cabin crew member believed she’s alone in the trick, either.

She reckoned other flight attendants also do the sneaky move.

Kathleen explained she would never actually do anything disgusting with the drinks, though.

“I would never spit in [someone’s] cup,” the cabin crew confirmed.

“Let it out down the aisle over the passengers,” the stewardess recommended. “It’s called crop dusting.”

She continued: “Your uniform will stink of farts – we call it Eau de Boeing.”

Another cabin crew worker said some flight attendants used this bodily function to get their own back at passengers who annoyed them.

“Crop dusting is a disgusting, albeit very common, method of retribution,” flight attendant and author of the Crewed Talk column on Flyertalk.com, Amanda Pleva told The Sun.

“If a passenger is being very rude and difficult, then it’s not unheard of for a flight attendant to break wind and ‘crop dust’ past the offender,” she said.
