Trump BLUNDER: White House posts embarrassing Twitter update about bizarre weather in DC

The White House posted a picture of the front of the building in the dark with snow flurries falling from the sky. The caption read: “First snow of the year!”

However, Twitter users took to the social media platform to criticize the post and post pictures of the current forecast in Washington DC.

The White House’s Flickr account showed the original photo up close with a caption that included the date of the photo.

According to Flickr, the photo was taken on Tuesday afternoon on January 7.

The caption reads: “The North Portico of the White House is seen during a snow flurry Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 7, 2020, in a mix of snow and rainy weather in the Washington, DC area.”

Twitter users commented on the White House post, criticizing the President in the process.

One user said: “Really???? Do you people have to lie about everything???”

Another user called James said: “What???

“The daytime high in DC today was 68F.

One user replied: Is it at all possible for you people to not lie?

“Like, about anything? Or is there a six day time delay to your tweets? Our first snow was last week.”

Francesco said: “It’s only Trump’s dandruff, he was shaking his head in front of the camera.”

Bestselling author and former White House aide Keith Boykin tweeted: This White House lied about rain at Trump’s inauguration.

“They used a Sharpie to change a weather map to lie about a hurricane headed to Alabama.

“And they continue to lie about climate change. Why wouldn’t they lie about the first snow of the year when it’s 53 degrees in DC?”

The US President is yet to respond to the blunder on Twitter.

It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson could address both Houses of Congress when he travels to the US next month.

Those close to Trump are contemplating whether to make Mr Johnson the offer.

It will come as a way of building bridges between the Atlantic cousins, just days after the UK is supposed to leave the European Union, January 31.
