Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 43, recently reunited with her boyfriend Scott Ratcliff, 31, an Army Major, after spending three months apart. The actress said she is glad to be back with her beau, but admitted she is already dreading when he has to go away again.
Speaking in her column with OK! Magazine, she said: “Time apart form Scott makes me appreciate the small things that some couples often take for granted.
“Sitting on the sofa next to him, waking up with him and holding his hand.
“I miss those small things when we’re away from one another.
“It’s going to be rubbish when he has to go back, but I’m trying not to think about it.”

The former Cobbles star has previously said that she sometimes “feels a bit guilty” about thinking she is “lonely” when Scott is away.
Speaking on a video for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, she said: “Sometimes I feel a little bit guilty at the fact I might sit there and think I feel lonely, because whatever I’m going through it must be much harder for him.”
Last week, Kym shared a picture of the pair spending time together in a restaurant following their reunion.
The actress beamed for the camera as her and her beau placed their arms around each other.
Kym has previously opened up about suffering with anxiety while her boyfriend is away for work purposes.
She added it is “extra worrying” at times when she doesn’t hear from him.
The actress told The Sun: “There is always anxiety, it is always stressful when he goes away.
“There may not be an actual war threat currently but there’s always a risk when you’re in these dangerous places.
“And it can be extra worrying when you aren’t able to communicate for periods of time.”
Elsewhere, Kym stepped down from her role on the cobbles last year.
The singer played feisty Michelle Connor for 13 years.
