Sporting chiefs at Man Utd offices negotiating Bruno Fernandes transfer as price tag set

Sporting Lisbon have sent two delegates to Manchester United offices to discuss the transfer of Bruno Fernandes, reports have claimed. The midfielder is the subject of interest from the Red Devils as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his midfield options.

Fernandes was linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer but a deal failed to materialise.

The club were adamant that most of the noise surrounding a potential move was being driven from Portugal.

Now talk of a move to the Premier League is beginning to ramp up yet again as United go in search of some new additions.

According to Portuguese outlet Record, Sporting chiefs Frederico Verandas and Hugo Viana are currently at Manchester United’s offices.

They are looking to wrap up a deal for Fernandes which will see him leave the Primeira Liga club this month.

“When I’ve been and where I’ve been is irrelevant.

“[Fernandes] is another player in a different club I can’t speak about.”

Sporting will only sell their captain if their £65million valuation is met.
