Iran plane crash: Chilling footage shows moment 'missile' hits Ukraine jet after take-off

Bombshell footage has appeared to show what led to the Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 plane crash outside of Tehran on Wednesday, which killed all 176 on board. A devastating video has emerged showing what experts believe is an Iranian surface-to-air missile hitting a jet before it crashes in a ball of flames just minutes after take-off. The video, shot on a mobile phone, has been verified by experts including Pentagon intelligence officials.

The US officials detected two missile launches in the area moments before the crash took place.

Now, in a chilling new video, a tiny spec can be seen suddenly exploding when a ‘missile’ strikes the plane.

The plane, which did not immediately explode, continued flying for several minutes and attempted to turn back towards the airport.

However, the jet, which was engulfed in flames and had stopped transmitting its signal, crashed into the ground 20 seconds after the alleged missile strike.

The plane crash took place just hours after Iran launched a ballistic attack against Iraqi military bases housing US troops amid ongoing tensions between the West and Tehran.

The plane was a Boeing 737-800 en route from Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport to Kyiv’s Boryspil International Airport.

It has been carrying 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, three Britons, 11 Ukrainians, 10 Swedes, four Afghans and three Germans

The UK has since joined Canada and the US in claiming the plane crash was an “accidental missile launch”.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson added: “There is now a body of information that the flight was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile.”

However, Iran has still vehemently denied the claims, despite the video footage.

Tehran accused the West of “psychological warfare” as it denied that it shot down the jet.

Iran has continued to insist the crash was the result of mechanical error and warned that the black box may have been “damaged”.

Ali Abedzadeh, the head of Iran’s of Civil Aviation Organisation, said: “Scientifically, it is impossible that a missile hit the Ukrainian plane, and such rumours are illogical.”
