Dubai issues urgent statement to tourists after claims Iran will target UAE holidaymakers

The Guard issued the warning via a statement: “We are warning all American allies, who gave their bases to its terrorist army, that any territory that is the starting point of aggressive acts against Iran will be targeted,” the Guard said, reported Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency.

Another television channel of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard also threatened to bomb Dubai and Haifa – Israel’s third-largest city.

Mohsen Rezayee, Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council and a former IRGC commander, issued the caution to the USA.

He said: “If the US takes any action after our military response, we will level Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground,” reported Iran’s Fars News Agency.

However, the Dubai government has now dubbed the allegations of a threat as incorrect.

Dubai Media Office tweeted this afternoon: “The Dubai Government media office confirms that the rumours circulating about allegations of threats against the emirate of Dubai are not based on any official source from any institution in the Iranian government, nor was any such threat issued by any Iranian official.”
