Daniel Craig’s James Bond drinks NON-ALCOHOLIC beer in No Time To Die Heineken ad – WATCH

Since the Ian Fleming books, James Bond has always been a bit of boozer. In fact, it’s probably safe to say he has something of an alcohol problem. And now in Heineken’s tie-in ad for No Time To Die, Daniel Craig’s spy has swapped a cocktail for a non-alcoholic beer.

The Heineken 0.0 ad called “Daniel Craig vs James Bond” sees 007 sitting in a bar dressed in black tie.

A bartender then prepares him a cocktail, presents it to Bond and says: “Et Voila, the Double O.”

An unimpressed Craig shakes his head and points to an ice bucket of non-alcoholic beers.

Such a move might surprise Bond fans, with some feeling that No Time To Die is leaning towards a more “woke” 007 following the introduction of his part-electric Aston Martin Valhalla.

The Bond expert continued: “And yes the cheque book at the time slightly sugared the pill and they returned.

“[No Time To Die] could end on a cool cliffhanger – Jason Bourne falling into the sea – moment; a question mark.

“But Bond’s a little like Doctor Who, we can sort of all move on a bit, cast it again.”

On theories that Bond will die in No Time To Die, Mark pointed out: “Craig’s died one and half times already.”

The 007 expert was referring to Casino Royale when Bond was poisoned and his heart stopped before Vesper used the defibrillator in his Aston Martin to bring him back.

While he was also shot accidentally by Moneypenny in Skyfall’s opening, plunging to his supposed “death”.

Additionally, Bond had a fake death in the pre-titles sequence of Sean Connery’s You Only Live Twice. And yet again, the No Time To Die trailer teases Bond jumping off a bridge and retiring before returning to MI6 where Q quips, “so you’re alive then?”

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on April 2, 2020.
