Antoine Griezmann wants Neymar

Neymar would be embraced at Barcelona by Antoine Griezmann if he were to seal a sensational return to PSG, according to reports.

Neymar, who was reportedly valued at £273million by PSG last summer, remains keen on the idea of joining Barcelona, with the Brazil international ready to push for a move at the end of the campaign.

And Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo say that the France international would be happy to have Neymar at the club.

It’s claimed he looks favourably upon the Samba star because he believes the PSG star would make Barcelona even deadlier in attack.

Barcelona talks

Barcelona have submitted an offer for Palmeiras star Matheus Fernandes.

That’s according to ESPN, who claim Ernesto Valverde’s side have been monitoring the midfielder since 2017.

Fernandes, 21, made 11 appearances for Palmeiras last season and is contracted until June 2023.

No fee is mentioned but the report claims Barcelona could snap up his services before sending him back to the club on a season-long loan.

Christian Eriksen latest

Inter Milan are in advanced talks to sign Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.

The Denmark international, 27, is out of contract in June and will be free to leave the club on a free transfer with Barcelona and Manchester United both linked.

However, Antonio Conte’s side have made the first move.

Italian journalist Nicolo Shira tweeted: “Inter are in advanced talks with Christian Eriksen for the summer as a free agent.

“Marotta has offered a contract until 2024. The player prefers leave Tottenham at the end of the season, meanwhile Spurs are working to sell already him in January for €20-25M.”
