Every year in Spain on the 6th of January, the Spanish Royal Family commemorates Pascua Militar, a military ceremony at the Royal Palace of Madrid.

Looking like the epitome of ethereal beauty, the former journalist, Letizia, highlighted her slender frame in an elegant royal blue frock with a sexy thigh-high slit.

The style queen’s dress is long-sleeved, fitted and appears to be formal and in the style of a wrap dress in a deep blue colour, that is often associated with royals.

The dress has a rounded-edge collar and wraps over the middle, which accentuates the royals tiny waist, and is kept in place by a silver, flower-like, button.

The dress fell elegantly down the Queen’s body to the floor.

Letizia added some glitz to her chic ensemble with a pair of earrings.

The earrings she chose for the occasion, are a pair of intricate silver twisted earrings with a large pearl in the middle.

Adding height to her look, the Spanish Queen opted for a pair of her favourite Carolina Herrera black suede heels.

The stilettos had a closed pointy toe and a generous high heel.

For the occasion, she opted to sweep her hair up in a complex looking braid, keeping only some of her brown locks out of the braid to frame her face.

Opting for a glamorous look, the Spanish monarch stepped out with bronzed cheeks, nude, glossy lipstick, highlighted cheekbones and wore a light brown eyeshadow in a smokey effect.

At the Pascua Militar, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia received the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defence, the Chief of the Defence Staff, the Chiefs of Staff of all branches, the Grand Masters of the Royal and Military Orders of San Fernando and San Hermenegildo, the Civil Guard chiefs and the Veterans Brotherhood.

In one of her final public appearance of 2019, Queen Letizia turned heads in a chic ruffled jumper to visit the Foundation Against Drug addiction (FAD) Headquarters.

Dressing for the colder weather, Letizia covered up in the high neck jumper and matched it with a pair of black high-waisted trousers.

The Spanish monarch showed off her impressive fashion sense in the high neck black garment.

Championing the high street, she wore a knitted jumper from the store Uterque, the big sister brand of Zara.

Although the item is now sold out, similar designs come in at a reasonable £99.

The design had long sleeves and white frill trimmings down either side of the front.

The statement jumper had white detailing around the neckline and sleeves.

Letizia tailored by tucking the jumper into a pair of black high waisted trousers.

The A-line trousers had a loose fit and cut off just above her ankles.

Her slim frame was highlighted by a thin back leather belt which was fastened around her tiny waist.

The royal showed off her highlighted dark brown locks by leaving her hair down.

The mum-of-two wore her hair in a side parting and it was styled into a bouncy blow-dry.
