US told to LEAVE Iraq: Furious Iraqi politicians vote to permanently expel American troops

The Iraqi parliament has passed legislation to “end the presence” of Foreign troops in the region.

The bill prohibits foreign troops from using “its land, airspace or water”.

US troops had been in the region primarily in assisting the fight against Islamic State.

The resolution read: “The government commits to revoke its request for assistance from the international coalition fighting Islamic State due to the end of military operations in Iraq and the achievement of victory.

“The Iraqi government must work to end the presence of any foreign troops on Iraqi soil and prohibit them from using its land, airspace or water for any reason.”

This is a developing news story, more to follow.
