He said: “Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God, is that good.
“I could watch that runway show.”
Melania hit back at Mr Matthews in a revealing article with Dejour magazine, stating: “Unbelievable. That’s what I’m saying! I’m not only a beauty. I’m smart. I have brains. I’m intelligent. I would say men will be men”
Further on in the article, Melania claimed that to be married to someone “ successful as my husband is, you need somebody who will tell him the truth. Somebody smart, you know it’s not like I’m there and I’m just doing things for him”.
The comments made by Melania back in 2016 have been dug up by avid Twitter users, and many have shared their views on Melania’s implied “intelligence”.
One user said: “If somebody has to announce they’re smart, they usually aren’t; they’re only insecure.”
Another user remarked: “Who told her she was beautiful?”
While a third tweeted: “There’s no beauty in that woman. Selfishness, greed, and vanity took it years ago.”
Also, Melania shocked the Dujour interviewer by describing that Michael Jackson once suggested she begin making out with him to play a trick on Trump.
She recalled: “It was here in New York in the Pierre Hotel. Jackson called us, so we went over and had dinner. Just after dinner, we were chatting on the sofa, and my husband went into another room to see some art somebody wanted to show him.”
“And Michael said to me, “Hey, when Trump comes back, let’s start kissing so he will be jealous!”
Addressing a business class on campus, Melania was asked by a student if she would still be with Donald Trump if he were not rich.
To which Melania retorted: “If I weren’t beautiful, do you think he’d be with me?.“
This isn’t the first Twitter storm that Melania has found herself at the centre of after she was recently called a “dmbss” by Chrissy Teigan on the popular social media site.
Chrissy, who is married to singer John Legend hit back at Melania after the FLOTUS shared her New Years resolution for world peace.
In a furious tweet, model Chrissy said, “That’s birthday wishes, dmbss”
“Calibrate the robot to the your left she’s going haywire.”
A user replied: It makes sense that someone who has never worked for a single thing in his life would think New Years Resolutions are the same as birthday wishes.
Another tweeter said: “This sounds like a typical beauty pageant answer.”
While many shared memes comparing Melania to Sandra Bullock in the popular Miss Congeniality film.
It also didn’t help to the argument of Melania’s intelligence that she said she wants “peace on the world” instead of “peace in the world”.
