Brandi Redmond Offers Proper Apology After Mocking Asian People

Brandi Redmond is finally owning up to the error in her ways. The Real Housewives of Dallas star has offered a sincere apology for her resurfaced video where she mocked Asian people.

After Leanne Locken shocked the Bravo world after unleashing an offensive tirade about co-star Kary Brittingham multiple times, she was condemned by her co-stars for her behavior.

It just so happens that recently a video of Brandi squinting her eyes and saying: ‘They ask me what Asian I am because my eyes, they squinty.’

Redmond was responding to an interview where one of her castmates slammed her for appearing to have her eyes nearly closed most of the time.

Locken’s friend, Steve Kemble, thought that it was hypocritical of Brandi to call out his friend’s behavior when hers isn’t any better.

At first, the reality star took the defensive route when she said: ‘‘you think it’s funny to make fun of yourself or others? Let’s be clear, I was made fun of season 2 (where the video came from) for squinty eyes and made fun of myself. It’s nice to know we all come from different cultures and ethnicity.’

She added: ‘‘2020 @nbcsnl has always been a dream bc they never disappoint. Life is love and laughter. There is a difference between humor and hurtfulness. I will always chose to love you and hope to make you laugh. Cheers to a new year & decade. Let’s do this!’

The tweets have been deleted and replaced with a more sincere apology after fans slammed her for the way she has reacted.

‘A video resurfaced of me from three years ago which at the time I had posted and quickly deleted and then immediately apologized for my insensitivity.’
