Showing fans the dead fox on his driveway, he added: “It seems that if you stick up for foxes, you get your comeuppance from people who still think it’s a good idea to kill them.
“The injuries are consistent with it having been snared… which is a great shame because this creature was in the prime of its life, it’s a really beautiful fox.”
Many of his fans commented on the post, with one writing: “Utterly shameful and cowardly acts we’ve seen in recent days. We’re braver than them. Nature needs us to be.”
Another wrote: “Too true Chris, why can’t they just stop hunting foxes and move on.”
