The singer has regularly opened up about their split in songs featured in her upcoming album, Heavy Love, and recently said their marriage wasn’t “all terrible”.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Louise spilled: “It’s hard because the one thing I didn’t want this album to be… it was never about being unkind or bashing somebody else because I would never do that.
“Despite what happened, Jamie was in my life for 21 years. More than that, 25 years and I would never say a bad word about him.”
She said: “This was more about a personal way of relaying how I felt and it wasn’t all terrible.”
Louise stated she has simply used her “personal experience” to create records, as she added: “Obviously it’s whats happening in your heart at that moment.”
