Melania Trump embarrassment: FLOTUS’ world peace plea sparks furious Twitter backlash

The FLOTUS was initially embarrassed after husband Donald Trump corrected Melania, leaving her stunned into silence. She was asked by reporters what exactly she wanted in the New Year and she admitted world peace. But her admission sparked fury online with people complaining about human rights violations and issues with other countries that have allegedly been created by the US President.

Her BeBest campaign was also mocked as hundreds made their opinion on the First Lady clear.

One wrote: “Don’t disturb her. She is BeBesting.”

Another said: “And she answered like a beauty pageant contestant.

“I want peace “on” the world, too but it’s not something I have personally resolved to do this year.

“I don’t want to say what my resolution is because I think we jinx it.”

This news comes after the First Lady was humiliated on social media after citizens accused her of plagiarising Christmas.

The US President Donald Trump and Melania called for “peace among nations and joy to the world” in their Christmas message released to the United States last week.

They launched a video, which is a little over a minute long, was shared on Twitter by First Lady Melania Trump and retweeted by Donald Trump.

The presidential couple began by wishing “each and every American a very merry Christmas.”
