Ozark Star Julia Garner Marries Mark Foster In Private Weekend Ceremony

Ozark star Julia Garner and lead singer of Foster the People, Mark Foster, tied the knot this weekend in a private ceremony that featured the Emmy-winning actress wearing an Old Hollywood-style wedding gown from bridal brand Danielle Frankel.

The couple’s friend, designer Zac Posen, posted numerous pics from the ceremony on his Instagram Story that highlighted several details of Garner’s dress, like the satin bodice and lace detailing. The short-sleeve dress also featured a high neckline and buttons up the back. Foster opted for a classic look, too, with a traditional black tuxedo with a white shirt and bowtie.

Garner posted a black-and-white photo of her and Foster in the back of a cab, and New York City Hall was tagged as the location of the Instagram pic. Foster wore a white furry coat and held a bouquet of flowers as she looked into the front-seat camera from the back seat of the taxi.

While the couple never confirmed their engagement, an insider told People Magazine that Foster did pop the question earlier this year during a trip to Yellowstone National Park. And, on May 2nd at the Dirty John FYC panel in Los Angeles, the 25-year-old had a diamond ring on that finger.

In September, Garner won the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the Netflix series Ozark, and she called Foster the “love of my life” during her acceptance speech. After she won the award, Foster couldn’t help but gush about Garner’s surprise victory.

“It took me time to process the last twenty four hours and find a quiet moment of thought after an incredibly surreal weekend. I’m beyond proud of this girl,” wrote Foster, along with photos of Garner holding her Emmy

Foster also called Garner a “beautiful angel of a human,” and he said that it brings him immeasurable joy to see her lifted up and recognized by her peers, industry, and fans. The 35-year-old added that Garner deserved every bit of the love and respect, and he considers himself to be the luckiest guy on the planet to be able to watch her from the front row with a bag of popcorn and her hand wrapped in his.
