The New Year’s drivers are being added following the release of Christmas-themed characters.
These festive drivers were a Santa Mario, Santa Daisy, reindeer Yoshi and party dress Pauline.

The official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account has confirmed the start date and time for the New Year’s event is 10pm pacific time on Tuesday December 31.
For those in the UK that translates to 6am GMT on Wednesday January 1 2020.
