Gianvito Rossi Cow-Print Heels – worn in January 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “Meghan was seen sporting a gorgeous pair of Gianvito Rossi cow-print heels for a visit to SmartWorks in January this year.

“The heels were very on-trend as they featured a transparent panel, which was a big trend this spring/summer. These shoes were one of my favourites this year as it was refreshing to see a prominent royal figure wearing something a little more daring than your average pumps.”

While Meghan’s style is not available online any more, being from a previous collection, a similar animal-print calf hair pump was sold by Gianvito Rossi for £199.97.

Similar patent pumps with plexi from the brand retail for up to £620.87 on resale site My Theresa.

Aquazzura Rendez Vous Suede and Metallic Leather Mules – worn in February 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “While attending the Endeavour Fund Awards in London, Meghan opted for a stunning pair of Aquazzura mules. Aquazzura is well known for being Meghan’s go-to footwear brand and she has been seen wearing the brand’s designs numerous times this year.

“The black suede mules, which Meghan debuted for the first time, featured a pointed toe, high stiletto heel and multiple gold leather straps across the arch of the foot.”

Anthony McGrath aded: “She chose a fairly plain and simple black and white outfit, so the shoes jazzed it up a bit.”

These shoes are still on sale, and cost £530.

Sarah Flint Suede Knee-High Boots – worn in February 2019

The olive version is difficult to find online, but a pair of grey Sarah Flint zipped knee high boots sell on FarFetch.com.

Black Aquazzura Deneuve Pump – worn March 2019

Sauding Noddings said: “During the Commonwealth Day celebrations in March this year, Meghan’s first look of the day featured her favourite black Aquazzura Deneuve Pumps when she visited Canada House in London. The gorgeous suede slingbacks have been a staple in the Duchess’ wardrobe for quite some time.

“She loves them so much that she has them in at least four different colours – black, navy, taupe and powder pink. They all boast a pointed toe, an elegant bow detail at the back, side cut-outs and a super slim stiletto.”

The Aquazzura Deneuve Pump can be bought for £490.

Aquazzura Deneuve Bow Pointy Toe Flats – worn in June 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “The Duchess of Sussex was seen sporting a more practical shoe when attending a baseball game in London in the summer. The shoes are basically the exact same as the Denuve Pump, without the high heel. They feature cut-out sides and a bow at the back of the ankles.”

Stylist Anthony McGrath added: “Meghan knows her audience and knew that a stiletto heel would not be appropriate for a sporting event like this, so instead chose to wear the Deneuve Pointy Toe Flats, which were the perfect substitute. Her outfit for the day was both elegant and chic. She wore a comfortable-looking, black, belted Stella McCartney minidress.”

The Aquazzura Deneuve Bow Pointy Toe Flats cost £440 from the brand’s official website.

Saudin Noddings said: “During her visit to the historic Field of Remembrance alongside Prince Harry at Westminster Abbey last month, Meghan stepped out in a timeless pair of black leather boots from a collaboration between Tamara Mellon and FRAME.”

Anthony McGrath added: “The stylish, soft leather, knee-high boots are the perfect winter staple. Every woman needs a black pair of knee-high boots in her wardrobe. Why? Because they are so versatile and can be worn with so many different outfits, including skirts, trousers, jeans and dresses. In this instance, the slouchy boots looked amazing with the long navy coat by Canadian brand Sentaler.”

Jimmy Choo Romy Glitter Pumps – worn in February 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “The Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing one of the most Cinderella-esque pair of shoes we’ve ever seen her in to the BAFTAs at the beginning of this year. The sparkling silver Jimmy Choo pumps were the perfect finishing touch to her beautiful ensemble. Kate loves wearing a sparkly shoe from time to time and this was the perfect occasion.”

The Jimmy Choo Romy Glitter Pumps shoes cost £550, from Farfetch.

Oscar De La Renta Cabrina Pumps – worn in February 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “Once again, Kate was seen wearing a gorgeous pair of sparkling shoes to the 100 Women in Finance Gala in London. Designed by Oscar De La Renta, the Carbina Pumps give Disney Princesses a run for their money. The heels, which feature a pointed toe, scalloped sides and raised back, have been worn by the Duchess on a number of previous occasions.

“Embellished heels were a big trend this year and Kate was certainly on board. We expect this trend to continue to be just as popular in the New Year. What lady doesn’t like to sparkle?”

Anthony McGrath added: “This stunning look channeled the Duchess’ inner fairytale princess. She opted for some colour in a blush Gucci gown, paired with a Prada raspberry clutch that matched her belt. The heels complimented the outfit perfectly and luckily for us, the skirt of the dress was sheer enough for us to see them.”

These gorgeous pumps cost £568.

Ralph Lauren Boots – worn in March 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “The Duchess opted for practical footwear during her visit to Blackpool back in March. The gorgeous black Ralph Lauren boots were perfect for the weather conditions. They were knee-high and featured a sharp, pointed toe.”

Aldo Nicholes Block Heel – worn in July 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “Although she’s a member of the Royal Family, Kate is often seen wearing high street brands – much to the delight of the British public. This year, one of her Wimbledon looks featured a pair of block heels from the high street shoe store, Aldo.

“The pointy suede heels were beige in colour and featured a dainty ankle strap with a buckle closure. They had a block heel and were a comfortable height – just over four inches – making them the perfect shoe to walk over the tennis greens in.”

Anthony McGrath added: “The Duchess of Cambridge is the queen of mixing high-end fashion labels with high-street fashion, and this look is the perfect example. The Aldo block heels were the perfect accent for her pale blue Emilia Wickstead bespoke midi dress, which featured a square neckline, and cap sleeves.”

The Aldo Nicholes Block Heel currently costs just £29.98.

Tod’s Fringed Leather Pumps – worn in October 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “Recently, Kate was seen wearing a chunky heeled pair of burgundy loafers by luxury Italian label, Tod’s. Thanks to their block heel, the shoes were a comfortable choice for a day of engagements.”

The Tod’s Fringed Leather Pumps currently cost £318 on sale.

Emmy London Rebecca Greenery Court Shoe – worn in October 2019

Saudin Noddings said: “Kate managed to find the perfect colour shoes to match her beautiful teal gown when meeting Aga Khan at the Aga Khan Centre in October. The Rebecca Greenery court shoes by Emmy London are a stylish pointed court shoe. The sleek heels are a go-to for Kate. Thanks to their thin, straight heel, they are great for elongating one’s legs.”

Anthony McGrath added: “The Duchess looked effortlessly glamorous in this look. The ensemble was put together with perfection, carefully matching every element of the outfit, from the teal dress featuring an emerald green belt tie to the forest green jewellery and green court shoes.”

The Emmy London Rebecca Greenery Court Shoe costs £395.

Although wedges are rumoured not to be liked by the Queen, both Duchesses have turned to them several times on warmer summer days. They are the perfect shoes for balancing the sophisticated/comfortable/relaxed look.

“They are so versatile and can be worn with almost any look. Ultimately, they are the perfect casual but dressy shoe. The Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing her go-to tan pair numerous times this summer, which feature jute platform combined with a suede upper and suede lace-up cords around the ankle. She wore them to the Chelsea Flower Show in London in May, which she attended with Her Majesty. She also wore them in June when she attended her first event with The Royal Photographic Society.”

The Castañer’s Espadrilles Wedge Sandals cost just £38 in the sale.
