Catherine Zeta Jones, 50, took to social media yesterday to share a “weird selfie” as well as a rare family photo with her husband Michael Douglas, 75, and their two children.
The married movie stars and their teenage kids Dylan, 19, and Carys, 16, are currently on holiday in Zanzibar after heading to the Tanzanian archipelago for the festive period.
The award-winning actress has been documenting their trip on Instagram, sharing holiday snaps with her three million followers.
Yesterday, the Welsh-born actress posted a picture of her family during a laid-back Sunday lunch.
The casually-dressed foursome could be seen sitting on the floor at a traditional low table for the portrait.
In the picture, Catherine put on a leggy display in a pair of patterned shorts, white socks and a black T-shirt while reclining on a set of large cushions.
The brunette beauty wears her hair in a top knot for the photograph which she captioned: “Sunday lunch in Zanzibar. Happy Sunday everyone!”
Michael, who was sporting a navy blue polo shirt, beige trousers and was also shoeless, wrapped his arms around his wife of 19 years for the picture.
Dylan and Carys, who looks remarkably like her famous mum, sit alongside their parents and sport T-shirts in similar tones.
Instagram users and fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the post.
One user wrote: “Beautiful picture of the family Catherine,” while another added: “Lovely photo.”
A third replied: “What a happy family. Happy holiday.”
Following the family snap, Catherine took to her Instagram Stories to share a holiday selfie from her bedroom with her fans.
The glamorous mum-of-two showed off her fabulous figure in a plunging blue dress, featuring floaty sleeves and wide white belt which cinched her outfit in at the waist.
Sweeping her hair into a sleek style and sporting glam make-up and gold jewellery, the Chicago star struck a pose in front of a four poster bed with her phone in hand.
She captioned the picture: “Zeta in Zanzibar! Taking a weird selfie.”
