The midseason finale of Power season six saw Ghost’s (played by Omari Hardwick) enemies make their way to his nightclub Truth to take their revenge for him ruining their lives. Amongst the suspects, fans think they have worked out it is Tasha (Naturi Naughton) and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) who plotted together to take down Ghost.
Ghost wants Tariq to own up to shooting Ray Ray – the man who shot the teen’s twin sister Raina – and, while Tariq has agreed it doesn’t seem likely he’ll voluntarily do time for his crime.
Tariq is also angry his father broke up their family to pursue an affair with Angela Valdes (Lela Loren) and kept his drug-dealing past from him.
The secrets and lies has led to Ghost and Tariq having a very tumultuous relationship.
Furthermore, Tasha has played a role in turning her son against his father as Ghost has repeatedly walked out on them.

It would certainly be interesting if Tariq shot his father with Angela’s gun given the fact he blames Angela for most of his family’s problems.
Furthermore, Tariq has been in possession of Angela’s gun when he stole it from her apartment.
However, there is another shock theory which has suggested Angela – who appeared to die after being shot in the season five finale – is still alive and working to take down Ghost.
Angela insisted she was loyal to Tasha and Ghost but could she have turned against them and be working for the feds for immunity and to protect her family.
