Grealish is currently tied into a long-term deal at Villa Park, the team he has supported since he was a boy.
As a result, he is unlikely to push for a move away from the club.
However, if Villa go down – and they are currently 18th in the table – it is possible they could be forced into letting him go.
And United will reportedly be scouting Grealish throughout the second part of the season, ahead of a potential move in the summer.
