Dog The Bounty Hunter Posts Sweet Family Pic Marking His First Christmas Celebration Since Wife Beth’s Death

Around the holidays, the loss probably feels the most painful! After all, this was Dog Chapman’s very first Christmas that he had to celebrate without his beloved wife, Beth Chapman, following her tragic passing.

Somehow, the man still managed to feel some of the holiday magic as he posed with family members for a very festive pic.

This comes six months after Beth’s death of throat cancer.

The woman would always make Christmas as festive as possible for her kids, which is why her mourning husband made sure to follow in her footsteps and keep the tradition alive.

Beth lost the battle with cancer back in June and ever since then, Dog has mentioned multiple times how much he was struggling to cope with the devastating loss.

While he’s most certainly not healed yet, the reality TV star made an effort to spend a cheerful family Christmas this year, toasting a wine glass with four members of the family, including his and Beth’s 21-year-old daughter, Bonnie.

‘Merry Christmas it’s unfermented wine,’ Dog wrote alongside the sweet family picture.

He definitely seemed in high spirits and that can only be a good thing since he’s been struggling with health issues as well.

You may remember the reports from back in September when it was shared with the world that Dog had experienced a scary ‘heart emergency.’

Upon arriving at the hospital, he was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism, which had caused blood clots to form.

Dr. Tanya Dutta explained the condition via HollywoodLife, saying that the clots are ‘usually in the legs, although sometimes in the arms. Then they break off and travel into the blood vessels of the lungs. As the blood vessels become smaller, the clot eventually becomes lodged and obstructs blood flow. Once blood flow is obstructed, delivery of oxygen to the body decreases.’ Scary!
