It seems like there is still some love left between the former One Direction members and that’s even after Harry Styles threw some shade at the other guys during his SNL appearance! Harry’s first two albums debuted at number one and Liam Payne did not hesitate to congratulate his ex bandmate.
He posted a picture of Harry’s Fine Line album cover and alongside it, he sweetly wrote: ‘Massive congrats H, on becoming the first UK Male artist to debut at No.1 with your first two albums! What an achievement, you must be over the moon 💫.’
Sure enough, the album released just last week, not only debuted at the top spot but Billboard also dubbed it as ‘the biggest week for a pop album by a male artist in over four years.’
As for the shade Harry threw on Saturday Night Live during his monologue, it was directed at Zayn Malik anyway, so it makes sense Payne is not mad about it.
Meanwhile, he’s also dropped a solo album, LP1 earlier this month so it looks like the former 1D bandmates have all been busy doing their own thing since going on a hiatus.
Harry and Liam had a little reunion not too long ago too and while on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this week, he told the host all about it.

‘We spoke about a number of things, we had not seen each other for three years. Literally I had not seen him once, we had not spoken or anything. He was pretty much the same boy I left him. We talked about kids and happiness and all types of stuff,’ he dished during a game of Plead the Fifth.
