Mom-shamers are often on the loose on the Internet, and Toya Wright, who recently changed her name to Toya Johnson, is the one getting dragged for her parenting style.
Recently, Reginae Carter’s mother took to social media and she posted a few videos where she and her future husband, Robert Rushing, are listening to a love song with raw and raunchy lyrics suited for an adult.
Toya was deep and vibing to the sexy song, and so was Robert. However, many fans bashed Toya for her lack of parenting skills because her teen niece whom she is raising was present in the car while the inappropriate track played.
One person said: “So it’s ok to listen and go along with the kids of today😕… just saying what happened to grown folks staying grown and kids being kids… my boys listen to all type of shit, but I don’t do it with them that’s all..”
A critic claimed: “Damn ain’t yo Niece in the back seat 🥴 Whew Chileee.. #ratchetparenting.”
This follower claimed: “I agree with you on this one my mom and auntie would NEVER listen to or join in anything inappropriate with us we did that stuff on our own hahaha 😂😂😂😂👏👏👏.”
A third commenter shared: “What society sets forth as to parenting is just that and must I say @toyajohnson has obviously done a tremendous job at raising her child apparently she’s not the typical stereotype of a young black woman. I’m glad that you starred on married with children Peggy, but that still doesn’t make your parental skills any better cause I’m sure ur with ur man because of his financial stability for you and your happily married but is he🤔😭😂enjoy your day hunni ur right there’s always the dm…oh, happy holidays as well!!!”
This defender chimed in: “Know u can never be happy to another bitter black woman. They will try to find anything to say to irritate ya day.”
Toya fought back by saying her niece is a teen, not a three-year-old and added: “Raise your kids and let us raise our kids. Thank you.”
