Star Wars fans have been queuing up at cinemas to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and find out what has happened to their favourite characters. The final movie in the Skywalker saga has some incredible moments which will leave fans desperate for more. But will there be a spin-off starring Jannah and the recently returned Lando Calrissian?

As Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came to an end, the Resistance troops were celebrating after they and Rey had beat Emperor Palpatine and the Final Order.
This huge defeat will bring peace to the galaxy one and for all, and fans were jubilant along with their favourite characters.
Amidst the drama, new character Jannah (played by Naomi Ackie) had fought valiantly alongside Finn (John Boyega) to defeat the command ship of the First Order.
Their work could have been a suicide mission, had it not been for the incredible driving skills of Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) who flew in with Chewbacca to save them.

They landed back at the Resistance base and, in a touching moment, the pair began to chat.
Jannah asked Lando where he was from, at which point he revealed he was from Socorro.
Sadly, Jannah was unable to answer when Lando asked where she was from, as she and her company had been brought up as Stormtroopers, with no understanding of their true identity and origins.
This is a similar story to Finn, whose origins are unknown and his name even came from his Stormtrooper number rather than from his family.
When Jannah told Lando she had no idea where she was from, Lando replied: “Well, let’s find out.”
Some fans believe this will mean there will be an upcoming Jannah and Lando Calrissian spin-off, but there are also other rumours coming through.
Many fans have speculated that, after a script leak suggested it, Jannah is actually the daughter of Lando Calrissian.
One fan tweeted: “since yall have seen tros at this point, according to the plot leak jannah was going to be lando’s daughter but that was edited out.”
Another added: “I’m pretty sure it’s heavily implied that Jannah is Lando’s daughter. Not in the movie itself but in some other side content because of course.”
Some fans have gone even further, suggesting the former Stormtrooper is also related to another in her position – Finn.
One theory even suggested that, when John Boyega reportedly lost the Star Wars script, his inclusion as Lando’s son was removed in favour of Jannah.
The tweet said: “The original Jedi paxis leaks said lando had kid(s) and that they were likely Finn and Jannah. This was revealed earlier in the film. In the final cut it’s just jannah at the end”
Another fan added: “CALIRISSIAN FAMILY SHOW ON DISNEY+ WHERE LANDO GETS FINN AND JANNAH TRAINED IN THE FORCE WHILE HELPING THEM FIGURE OUT THEIR LIVES BEFORE BEING STORM TROOPERS AND BECOMING THEIR FATHER FIGURE LETS GOOOOOOO!”
This comes from a tweet sent by Ackie herself, who tweeted: “Love you… imma see you real soon. I have a Feeling.”
This suggests she may be back as Jannah in a spin-off, possibly on the new Disney streaming platform Disney+, alongside her Star Wars co-stars.
But, as is always the case with Disney and Star Wars, fans will have to wait and see to find out.
