Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer issues Ed Woodward warning when discussing transfers

He’s been behind every transfer deal United have conducted since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013 and, while he’s landed hits like Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Martial, the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria have flopped on his watch.

With the January transfer window approaching, United are expected to be active.

And Solskjaer has insisted he’ll always have the final say on who comes in the door.

“I will always have the final say,” he said ahead of today’s Premier League clash with Watford.

“I am not going to let any players in the door without me saying yes definitely.”

On United’s radar for the New Year is a centre-forward and right-sided forward.
