Lindsay Lohan threw some shade at Lea Michele but, as it turns out, the latter actress was not only not offended, she was actually honored! While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a caller asked Lea what she thought of Lohan’s shady comment about her after getting cast as Ariel in The Little Mermaid production at the Hollywood Bowl.
In response, she revealed: ‘I know, I saw that! It was really interesting. They announced I was playing Ariel at the Hollywood Bowl and I think that she wrote, like, ‘What?’ or something like that. I find it to be an honor, truly. It is classic, classic. Because obviously, it is at the Hollywood Bowl, but it was great. I am down with it, of course.’
As you may remember, back in April, just after it was announced that Lea had gotten the part, Lindsay sounded a bit confused.
Under an IG post that was sharing the news, she simply commented: ‘Huh?’
It’s safe to say that she probably thought she was the better choice for the role.
After all, last year Lohan also expressed interest in taking on the character for the much-anticipated live-action remake of the animated movie.
However, the titular role went to Halle Bailey in the end.
Lindsay Lohan shades fellow celebs quite a lot so Lea was not the only victim.
Back in October, she also dragged Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson, criticizing their romance.
In a now-deleted post, she shared a pic of Cody and her sister Ali Lohan, since the two had a short-lived relationship.

Alongside the snap, she wrote: ‘When you realize you failed. And you settle for less @codysimpson. Family’s everything you won masked singer but you lost on your future.’
