The rumors about the supposed relationship between Chris Brown and Ammika Harris have finally been proved true, as well as the speculations about the two of them expecting a baby together.
Recently, it was revealed that the 26-year-old model was not only indeed involved with the 30-year-old singer but also gave birth to a baby boy, Aeko Catori Brown, on November 20.
Since then, the new mom opened up and revealed more about what she has been going through.
Ammika took it to Instagram to post a video story, where she shared that she gave birth through a C-section and how she had to accept the fact that getting back in shape would be harder than expected.
In her footage, Ammika stated that before she got pregnant, her weight used to be 108 lbs, whereas, towards the end of the 9th month, she was at 157 lbs.
Ammika explained that during her pregnancy, she would say to herself that she needs to get back to her normal size as soon as possible, and the model often considered two weeks to be enough time for recovery.
However, she concluded that she did not know what to expect after welcoming her child, especially after her C-section, and it was impossible to get fit in two weeks.
She wrote: “At the beginning of my pregnancy, I weighed 108 lbs. By the end, I was 157 lbs. I was huge.”
She added: “During my pregnancy, I said to myself, ‘I need to get back to my regular size ASAP. I would say, ‘I’ll give myself 2 weeks.’ I didn’t know what to expect after giving birth. Especially after a c-section. 2 weeks was impossible. Your body need time to recover, and you need to give your uterus time to shrink too. I’m now four weeks postpartum. This is my belly today. 2 more weeks until I can start working out again.”
In her video, Ammika also showed what her belly looked like four weeks after giving birth and said she had two more weeks to go until she could start training again.
It seems Harris’s confession was very inspirational for her followers because many congratulated her for her bravery, and numerous mothers said they felt motivated by her.

Harris recently returned to social media wearing a green bathing suit and confirmed that the snap-back is real.
