RHONY – Tinsley Mortimer Skips Out On Filming The Season 12 Finale And Her Co-Stars Are Not Happy

Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer insisted earlier this month that she hadn’t quit the show, but then she skipped out on filming the season finale and her co-stars are not happy.

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Mortimer was exiting RHONY after her boyfriend, Coupon Cabin CEO Scott Kluth, proposed in front of the Chicago Water Tower. Insiders claim that Mortimer is planning to move to Chicago and she is done with RHONY. But, she told People magazine that the rumors that she quit weren’t true.

“As with many relationships, life does not completely stop for love, which is why I will continue to honor my work commitments in NYC while Scott focuses on CouponCabin’s busy season in Chicago,” explained Mortimer.

She added that she wanted to set the record straight about reports that claimed she had to choose between Kluth and RHONY, claiming they were “100 percent untrue.” She did confirm that she would soon be calling Chicago home, but she didn’t reveal her future plans for RHONY.

Now that she’s skipped out on the finale – which was shot this week at Sonja Morgan’s Drag Queen bingo event for GLAAD at Chelsea Studio Space – it looks like Mortimer’s time on RHONY is coming to an end.

Morgan, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and newbie Leah McSweeney were all on hand for the finale, and they expected Mortimer to make an appearance, even though she did have another commitment at the No Dogs Left Behind bash.

That fundraiser ended at eight o’clock, and Morgan’s event didn’t end until ten. But still, Mortimer was a no-show. “None of the housewives were happy with Tinsley,” said the insider.

She also missed the cast trip to Mexico, which kept the rumor alive that Mortimer was done with RHONY. According to Us Weekly, an insider claims that Mortimer is done after filming wraps for Season 12.

“She is moving for love,” the insider said last month after Mortimer got engaged. “This is a very happy time in her life right now and everyone is rooting for her and Scott. They have addressed all their issues and no longer want to live without each other. She is very, very happy!”
