Trump SCRAPS Black Panther’s Wakanda from trading list in bizarre system test

Hours after the US President faced impeachment charges by the Democrats, it appeared the embattled Republican took his fury out on the superhero by abolishing the made-up nation Wakanda from the agriculture department. The department (USDA) said the nation – home of Black Panther – was added to the list as a test during a system update. Mike Illenberg, a USDA spokesman, told NBC: “Over the past few weeks, the foreign agricultural service staff who maintain the tariff tracker have been using test files to ensure that the system is running properly.

“The Wakanda information should have been removed after testing and has now been taken down.”

It had been listed on the site along with Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru.

The emergence of Wakanda – and its deletion – came after a social media user spotted it had vanished from the system and shared her post on Twitter.

Francis Tseng, a fellow at the Jain Family Institute, also shared that among the commodities in Wakanda were “live asses”, “mules and hinnies”.

Several other farm animals had been listed along with potatoes and chestnuts.

But the famous heart-shaped purple flowers that give Black Panther his super powers were not listed.

It comes as President Trump was today impeached in the United States House of Representatives, making him the third President in history to suffer such a fate.

Congress found he abused his office by asking Ukraine to investigate former Vice President and the President’s biggest rival in the 2020 election, Joe Biden.

Many have already indicated that they will not vote for the President’s removal.

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi opened the debate yesterday with a speech from the floor of the House.

She said: “For centuries Americans have fought and died to defend democracy for the people, but very sadly now our founder’s vision of a republic is under threat from actions from the White House.

“If we do not act now, we would be derelict in our duty. It is tragic that the president’s reckless actions make impeachment necessary. He gave us no choice.”

During the House debate, Trump posted several tweets, calling the Democratic arguments “ATROCIOUS LIES BY THE RADICAL LEFT” and an “ASSAULT ON THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!!!”.

The President was fiercely defended by fellow Republicans, who sought to cast the trial as illegitimate and unfair.

Republican Barry Loudermilk compared the impeachment process to the fate of Jesus Christ.

He said: “During that sham trial, Pontius Pilate afforded more rights to Jesus than Democrats have afforded this president in this process.”
