The pop star will return to TV screens in the new year with fellow The Voice UK coaches Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and new face Meghan Trainor.
He took a six-month break from the spotlight and social media to concentrate on recovering from a long-overdue knee operation and spend more time with his friends and family.
In June, he told his 2.8 million Instagram fans of his plans following his surgery.
He wrote: “I’ve been recovering from serious knee surgery, something I’ve needed for sometime. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to cope sitting still like this for the next few months its going to kill me but it’s what’s needed.”
He continued: “I’m also going to use this time as an opportunity to take myself off social media for a while – focus on my recovery and spend some time on myself, with friends and family.”
