Both Kanye West and Jay Z were in attendance at fellow rapper Diddy’s birthday bash last night! As fans know, the two have been beefing for years so their reunion was quite the big deal!
It seems that the night went well and the enemies were cool around each other, even though they have quite the history.
Diddy had a great birthday party and it had everything you could want – even a reunion between Jay z and Kanye West after years of publicly feuding!
Are the two men friends again now?
Diddy turned 50 years old more than a month ago but he wanted to celebrate on his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter’s birthday as a way to honor her since she passed away before she could even turn 47.
For his big day, it appears that Jay and Ye pressed pause on their beef and posed right alongside each other for pics.
And that was not all! As it turns out, they even shook hands at some point!
The two rappers have had a pretty rocky relationship but what seemed to really trigger their fallout was the fact that Jay Z and Beyonce did not come to his and Kim Kardashian’s wedding.
While on The Breakfast Club, Kanye previously admitted that ‘I was hurt by them not coming to our wedding. I understand that they were going through things, but if it is family, you are not going to miss a wedding. I am not using this interview to put out negative things, but I’m gotta state my truth. You begin coming up with all kinds of crazy things in your head, like ‘Why?’’
A couple of years ago, Jay Z also addressed their rocky relationship, suggesting that it’s always been that way.

More precisely, he told The New York Times’ T Magazine that: ‘It’s a complicated relationship with us. Kanye came into the business on my label. So I have always been like his big brother. And we are both entertainers. It has always been like a bit underlying competition with your big brother. And we love and respect each other’s art, as well. We both — everybody wants to be the greatest in the world. You know what I’m saying?’
