Harvey Weinstein Boasts That He’s ‘Pioneered’ Films For And By Women For The Past 30 Years!

The controversial moviemaker is now claiming that he is pretty much the pioneer of making movies for and by women amid his troubles with the law over multiple sexual harassment accusations. The name Harvey Weinstein has become synonymous with abusing power to the detriment of women in Hollywood but the man has only good things to say about, well, himself!

Instead of opening up about his upcoming trial, during a new interview for the New York Post, the disgraced producer talked about his supposed positive impact on women in the industry.

‘I feel like the forgotten man. I made more movies directed by women and about women than any filmmaker, and I’m talking about 30 years ago. I’m not talking about now when it’s vogue. I did it first! I pioneered it! It all got eviscerated because of what happened. My work has been forgotten,’ he seemingly lamented while chatting with the news outlet.

As you can see, Weinstein did not directly address any of the accusations against him but just wanted to boast about his apparent contribution that has been shadowed by his alleged crimes.

It’s a well known fact at this point that a couple of years ago, the producer was accused of three decades of sexual assault and harassment of countless women.

The shocking details caused outrage and pretty much sparked the whole Me Too movement that led to many other people in power being exposed for their misconduct, whether in the movie industry or in other fields.

Regardless, Weinstein continues to deny the claims against him to this day and it doesn’t look like he’ll change his narrative anytime soon.
