The video’s description included the history of the track, revealing: “Thank God It’s Christmas was a rare song writing collaboration between Roger and Brian.
“The song spent six weeks in the UK charts over the Christmas/New Year period 1984/1985.
“It enjoyed a second lease of life Christmas 1995 coupled with the hit single A Winter’s Tale from the Made In Heaven album.
“Here the track receives a fully animated treatment.”
Yesterday, May called on Queen fans to congratulate Boris Johnson on winning the 2019 general election.
The 72-year-old, who has previously been impressed by Jeremy Corbyn and Labour’s policies, said the UK should give the prime minister “the benefit of the doubt”, calling the result a “wake up call.”
May then said how he hoped to work with Boris for animal rights during his time in office.
The Queen guitarist added: “We, as animal campaigners will be knocking on his door from tomorrow onwards, seeking better deals for Britain’s non-human animals, with the sincere hope and belief that he will listen.”
