Ben Stokes, 28, and his other half Clare Ratcliffe were all smiles as they stepped out to attend BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019.
The cricket star was instrumental to England’s historic World Cup win in the summer and impressed the nation with his incredible 135 not out in the Ashes.
As a result, Ben has been tipped as the bookies’ favourite to win the award for his achievements in sport this year.
The sportsman looked dapper on the red carpet in a suit, featuring a black jacket and matching trousers.
He added a white shirt, grey waistcoat and a striped monochrome tie to complete the ensemble.
Ben’s wife Clare opted for a glamorous strapless black gown covered in golden sparkles.
The dress was nipped in at the waist to showcase her figure while the skirt cascaded into ruffles.
She wore her brunette locks straight and accessorised with a gold necklace and a co-ordinating cuff bangle around her wrist.
Clare completed her look with a black leather clutch bag, which she wore around her shoulder.
