This year, only three couples are competing in the final instead of the usual four, after Will Bayley had to pull out of the competition due to a leg injury.

The Strictly final will be followed by Michael McIntyre Big Show, featuring guests Ellie Goulding and Andrea Bocelli.

Competing in the final are Kelvin Fletcher and his professional partner, Oti Mabuse, EastEnders actress Emma Barton and Anton du Beke and CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.

The Strictly couples will perform three dances tonight: a show dance, their favourite routine and a routine picked for them by the judges.

At the moment, Kelvin and Oti are the favourites to win the competition according to the odds.

They are currently at odds of 2/5 to win at Bet365, Ladbrokes and William Hill.

The second favourite to win is Emma and Anton at odds of 9/4 at Ladbrokes, Coral and Boylesports.

Karim and Amy are the third favourites to win the competition t dos of 12/1 at Betfair, Paddypower and Betway.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said “Kelvin has been the punters’ favourite since week one on Betfair Exchange and he’s odds-on at 2/5 to hold the glitter ball aloft tonight.

“Whilst Karim has been one of the standouts of the series he has been in the bottom two and is the outsider tonight at big odds of 30/1, while Emma Barton could be the one to upset the form book and is 5/2 to win.”

Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica O’Reilly added: “It will be the biggest upset since David and Goliath if Kelvin isn’t crowded as the 2019 winner.”

However, Rupert Adams from William Hill told Express.co.uk: “If you factor in the Anton factor, you have to think that Emma is a real contender to win Strictly 2019.”

Betfair’s odds for the Strictly Come Dancing 2019 winner are:

  • Kelvin Fletcher 2/5
  • Emma Barton 5/2
  • Karim Zeroual 30/1*
