James Jordan: 'No chance' Strictly star slams Karim Zeroual before 'one horse race’ final

James Jordan, 41, took to Twitter this evening to share his predictions about which couple will go all the way and win Strictly Come Dancing 2019. The ex Strictly pro spoke out about the BBC show’s finalists in view of his 265,000 followers and slammed Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden’s chances of lifting the Glitterball trophy, in spite of the CBBC presenter’s top scoring performances during the series.

James went on to claim the final is set to be a “one horse race”, which will see Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse triumph.

The dancer explained that although Karim is the “best dancer”, he believes Kelvin should win for being the most “entertaining” and “consistent” throughout.

James tweeted: “I personally would love to see Kelvin win as I feel he’s been the most consistent and had the most entertaining performances overall…

“Karim is the best dancer and Amy is lovely.

Another added: “I agree. Sadly for Karim, I don’t think he’ll lift the trophy. I like his dancing and he seems like a nice lad, but it’ll be between Kelvin and Anton. As you said, purely because of Anton’s fanbase if he does win.”

“Karim is my favourite but I completely agree that Kelvin will win,” a third viewer commented.

Karim and Amy were in the dance-off twice before making it through to the Strictly final.

It seems they are now pulling out all the stops to win and make it past their struggles, as Amy’s secret training tactic seemed to be revealed during a conversation between former contestant Joe Sugg and his Strictly podcast co-host Kim Winston.

Kim said: “I was chatting to Amy and she said she was doing a bit of one dance, then practising a bit of another dance and then another.”

Amy took to Instagram to gush about how “proud” she is of Karim in a sweet post, which read: “I can’t even explain all the emotions I’m feeling today but for sure one is PROUD!

“@karim__zeroual my dear friend I’m bursting with pride right now! Thank you for the best few months! You are a superstar as I keep telling you!

“I can’t wait to perform with you tonight in the grand final and share this very special moment with you! A moment we both dreamed of since growing up watching the show!”
