Michelle Obama shock: Ex-FLOTUS reveals true feelings towards ex-President George Bush

Ex-First Lady Michelle Obama insisted she and George Bush have disagreed on policy in an interview with the Today show. She added, however, that their values are the same as they both agree on love and compassion. While speaking to Mr Bush’s daughter Jenna Bush Hager the ex-Flotus described the importance of understanding the similarities shared with others rather than the differences.

Ms Obama said: “I had an opportunity to sit by your father at funerals, the highs and the lows.

“We shared stories about our kids and our parents.

“Our values are the same, we disagree on policy but we don’t disagree on humanity.

“We don’t disagree about love and compassion.

“I think that is true of all of us.

“It is just that we get lost in our fear of what is different.”

The former first lady was then asked to describe 2019 in a few words as it comes to a close.

“She said: 2019 was surprising, exciting, fun, inspiring.

“I can’t wait for the next chapter.”

Ms Hager then asked what Ms Obama was looking forward to in the future and 2020.

When asked by People magazine what was the new thing she had learned in 2019, Michelle replied: “I learned to play cornhole.

“I know, it’s sacrilege for a Midwesterner to learn this late in life.”

The game is similar to horseshoes except wooden boxes called cornhole platforms are used and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes.

Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points.

A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point.
