SAN FRANCISCO – TriSept Corp., a U.S. launch integration company, announced plans to open an office at the United Kingdom’s Harwell Space Cluster as part of a comprehensive teaming agreement with the Satellite Applications Catapult, a government-backed nonprofit.
“Together, the duo expects to build a mission manifest for new vertical and horizontal launch sites in England and Scotland,” according to the Dec. 10 news release.
“TriSept is going global to help drive space access in promising new space markets like the U.K., where we can join our proven and trusted launch integration and brokerage skillset with incredibly innovative companies like Catapult to contribute to new possibilities in space,” Rob Spicer, TriSept president and CEO, said in a statement. “By launching our international presence with Catapult within the Harwell Space Cluster, TriSept is extremely well positioned to broker and support exciting new missions in the U.K.”
TriSept plans to send at least one employee from its U.S. base in Chantilly, Virginia, to the Harwell Campus in 2020. Later, TriSept plans hire experienced people in the United Kingdom to support specific operations.
TriSept and the Catapult formed a teaming agreement based on their conviction that TriSept’s experience in launch integration, engineering and mission planning will complement Catapult’s strengths including its manufacturing and testing facilities.

TriSept has played a role in the launch of more than 200 satellites on 70 different missions and 20 different launch vehicles from 13 launch. The Satellite Applications Catapult was established in 2013 to accelerating the growth of the U.K. space industry.
