Dwayne Johnson had a very interesting wedding and now, he’s explaining why they made the choices they made! You may know that the actor, also known as The Rock, tied the knot with Lauren Hashian almost four months ago and apparently, it was ‘magical!’
Dwayne was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when he opened up about his wedding ceremony, including why they said yes so early in the morning – 7:45 A.M. to be specific!
By that time, they were declared husband and wife, which is quite rare!
The talk show host was also very surprised by the early morning nuptials but, as it turns out, there is a good explanation for it.
‘We wanted to have an early morning wedding. That way, we said the vows, got it over with, and then by 10 or 11 o’clock, we were hanging and having brunch with the family. We had it done,’ Dwayne explained.
And that is not all! Since they said their vows in Hawaii, morning are beautiful there, so it was all worth waking up super early as ‘It was truly a magical, magical wedding.’
The actor also mentioned that the ceremony was ‘very private’ which means that it was not that difficult to get a few people to wake up in the early A.M. to watch them get married.
All in all, Dwayne is happy with how it all turned out, stressing that ‘It was the best. It truly was.’

Not too long ago, Dwayne also revealed that after his first divorce in 2007, he was hesitant to tie the knot again but ‘Lauren was incredibly patient. [She’d say], I love you, you love me, we have this amazing life together — no [pressure].’
