Flights: Passengers call for revenge on 'rude' traveller – what would you do?

While plane travel is a favoured method of transport for speedy travel, it also comes with a number of downsides. In a bid to get as many people on board as possible, many airlines scrimp on leg space in economy cabins. However, one traveller truly suffered limited legroom on a recent flight at the hands of their fellow passenger.

The disgruntled flier took a photograph of the moment the man in front of them reclined his seat fully, taking over the entirety of the little leg room behind him.

The viral image, which was posted to Reddit, shows what appears to be a seat in an economy cabin.

In the photograph, the legs of the person behind the camera can be seen squished into a tiny gap between their seat and the one in front.

Meanwhile, the passenger in the seat in front has reclined their chair fully back, taking over any leg room there was.

The male in front is also reported to have said: “My seat has a recline button for a reason.”

However, other travellers have lashed out about his attitude.

One commented: “I would have come down with the biggest, wettest case of the allergies ever. Sneezed ALL over the top of his head.

“Sip of drink? Oops I choked and coughed my cranberry juice all down your dome.

“Complementary pretzels? Don’t mind if I eat like [an] animal and spray some crumbs on your scalp.

“Don’t like it? Shoulda got a seat in first class, heard they’re better behaved up there.”

This isn’t the first time a passenger’s behaviour has ruined the experience for those around them.

One traveller on a train in Asia was pictured getting a little too comfortable, causing an outcry from onlookers.

The traveller can be seen wearing a pair of black trousers but has stripped their feet entirely naked, their bare toes pressed out against the seatback in front of them.

Built into the seat is also a television screen, something that reportedly also fell victim to this traveller’s feet.

The passenger who snapped the too comfortable moment posted a caption alongside the image, stating: “Ahhh Asia! Those feet ended up all over the back of the chair, even on the monitor.”
