Cardi B was cheated on by her husband Offset but she chose to give him another chance! That being said, she warned the fellow rapper that if he betrays her again, she will make sure to beat him up!
She believes in monogamy so the rap star wants her husband to respect their relationship and household – at least from now on!
During an interview for Vogue, Cardi opened up about the reason why she stayed with Offset despite the infidelity, how they dealt with it and more!
Despite pressure from social media to break up with the Migos member, Cardi still chose to forgive him!
That being said, the female emcee held nothing back when she discussed how the two of them overcame the problems that arose from his infidelity.
Cardi dished that ‘A lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me. But it’s real-life s**t. If you love someone and you stop being with them, and you are depressed and social media’s telling you to not talk to that person because he cheated, you are not really happy on the inside before you have the conversation. Then, if you get back with them, it is like, how could you? You let us all down.’
Cardi noted that everyone has issues but the way she was able to get over the betrayal was by recognizing that and also by praying!

‘I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. We had priests come. And we just came to an understanding like, it’s really us against the world. He has my back in everything, I have his back in everything, so when you cheat, you are betraying the person that has your back the most. Why would you do that? We’ve come to a clear understanding. For me, monogamy’s the only way. I will beat your a** if you cheat on me,’ Cardi stated.
