Steven Gerrard has helped steer Rangers back to a position of being able to challenge old rivals Celtic and will be aiming to win his first managerial trophy since taking the hotseat at the Ibrox in 2018.
Neil Lennon has pedigree of winning trophies but he also is yet to hold the Scottish League Cup as a manager, having won the competition twice as a player.
Incredibly, it’s the first time the Old Firm rivals have met in a cup final since the 2011 Scottish League Cup which provided plenty of talking points and Rangers coming out on top.
It’s a tough one to call with the two clubs separated by just two points in the league but it promises to be a cracker
