Juice Wrld dead: Rapper wrote lyrics about dying young before death aged 21

Juice Wrld died at the age of 21 at Chicago’s Midway airport this morning. According to TMZ, the rapper suffered a medical emergency following his arrival on a flight from California.

The star previously wrote about dying young in his 2018 song Legends.

He rapped: “What’s the 27 club? We ain’t making it past 21.”(sic)

The track paid tribute to late rappers XXXTentacion and Lil Peep, who died in 2018 and 2017, respectively.

In another line from the song, he discusses not wanting to be referred to as a “legend”, because legends seem to die young as his friends did.
