She also accused the former PM of “extraordinary human damage” by failing to recognise the value of “every single human being”.
The actress famously recalled the strong women of the generation who raised her during the war, while the men were serving in the armed forces, claiming they “would not have recognised their definition of womanliness” in Thatcher.
“A woman, but not on my terms,” she said of the late political leader.
