In a lengthy post, Justin Timberlake apologized to his wife, Jessica Biel, his son, and his other family members after a series of embarrassing photos surfaced where he was getting dangerously too close with his Palmer costar, Alisha Wainwright.
A source spoke to In Touch and revealed how Biel feels about the situation. The actress has forgiven the famous singer but has no plans to visit him on the set of the film because she does not want to see Wainwright face-to-face after the embarrassing photos.
The person in the know made this revelation: “As far as I know, Jessica has no plans to visit the New Orleans set. Justin is a mess. He’s trying to take it one day at a time. It’s very intense between them right now. Everything is up in the air. They’re staying clear of each other unless they have a scene together. Justin’s been calling Jessica every hour just to check-in.”
Another insider talked to E! News and explained why Timberlake opted to finally break his silence on the drama that almost ruined his marriage: “He feels terrible that this happened and for putting Jessica through the public scrutiny. He knows she doesn’t deserve any of this and that he messed up.”
The crooner decided to address the matter to put an end to the chatter: “Justin hopes by addressing what happened and apologizing to her publicly that they can put this behind them and start to move on. Justin feels like the story isn’t dying and hopes this will be the end of it. He always tries to keep his private life private, but he knows he made a big mistake in public and now has to own up to it.”
In his apology, the singer and dancer wrote: “I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love. A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgment – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar.”
He continued with: “I drank way too much that night and regretted my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
He added: “I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
