Phillip Schofield: This Morning host laments schedule change due to general election

In his new series, Phillip Schofield, 57, looks at this year’s top Christmas gifts from helpful gadgets to children’s toys. The This Morning host is joined in the episodes with his wife Stephanie and many celebrity guests, who test out the products.

But Phillip didn’t seem too overjoyed about a scheduling change regarding his show, as it was moved due to the upcoming general election.

The ITV favourite admitted it’s “all over the place” as he complained about the fact it’s now on a Tuesday instead of a Sunday due to the leaders’ debates.

One viewer said to him: “What?! I thought @Schofe’s #spenditwellatchristmas was on Sunday’s?”

Phillip replied: All over the place because of leader’s debates etc! Back to Tuesday now, same next week too.”

Jeremy replied: “Our party and me do not accept anti-Semitism in any form. Obviously I am very sorry for everything that has happened, but I want to make this clear – I am dealing with it, I have dealt with it.

“Other parties are also affected by anti-Semitism. Candidates have been withdrawn by the Liberal Democrats, the Conservatives, and by us, because of it. We just do not accept it in any form whatsoever.”

The This Morning hosts also quizzed the politician on whether he has his Christmas tree up, or whether he’s waiting to see if he will be in 10 Downing Street for the big day.

Holly asked: “Have you got your tree up, or are you gonna wait in case you have to save it for Number 10?”
