Motsi Mabuse: 'She has her opinion' Strictly judge addresses Shirley Ballas rift rumours

The professional dancer responded: “It’s whether you’re professional and have respect for each other.

“I’m not going to engage in any of that kind of negativity.”

Motsi went on to insist she “gets along so well” with Shirley but admitted she tends to be “strong” with her opinions on the programme.

Oti Mabuse’s older sister continued: “We can only learn from each other. I watch her and I think Shirley is such a great icon in our dance world and we get along so well, and she has an energy of course.

The judge is famous for his harsh comments towards Strictly contestants and doesn’t shy away from criticising the stars.

However, Motsi told Express.co.uk that Craig’s Mr. Nasty persona is “all an act” for viewers.

Speaking at the Pride Of Britain Awards, she said: “Yeah, it’s an act, he’s nice.”

On whether there is any tension amongst the judges, she added: “There’s no tension, we’re friends, he’s great and he’s honest. I love that.”

The star then addressed some of the more controversial exits from this year’s series after Catherine Tyldesley became the sixth contestant to be eliminated.

When quizzed about the soap star’s shock exit, she said: “I think the hardest part if the dance-off.

“In Germany, the one with the least votes goes. On the other hand, it gives people a second chance to dance which is good. But saying goodbye to somebody always hurts.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
