Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Are Set To Face Off In Court To Finalize Their Divorce

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have not seen each other since their surprise split back in August after just eight months of marriage. But, the former couple will have to come face to face if they want to finalize their divorce, and that is set to happen next month.

According to Radar Online, Cyrus and Hemsworth will reunite at the Stanley Mosk courthouse in Los Angeles for a status conference on January 21, 2020. The expectation is that the exes will hammer out the details of their split at the hearing so they can finalize their divorce.

“Miley has accepted that this is over and has now agreed to move forward with the divorce process,” revealed an insider. “It’s sure to be interesting. They’ve both calmed down now, and Liam just wants this chapter fully done with so he can move on.”

As fans know, Hemsworth filed for divorce on August 21st just days after he and Cyrus announced their split. It only took Cyrus a few hours after the announcement to be caught kissing someone else, The Hills star Kaitlynn Carter.

Cyrus and Carter dated for just a few short weeks – but managed to get caught by cameras numerous times sharing some serious PDA – before Cyrus moved on with Cody Simpson.

On the other hand, Hemsworth has kept a low profile. But, he was caught holding hands in October with Australian actress Maddison Brown during a daytime stroll in New York City. And, cameras also caught the duo making out later that night. Hemsworth hasn’t said anything publicly about a budding romance with Brown, and she refuses to talk about a possible relationship.

When Australia’s Daily Telegraph recently asked the Dynasty actress if she was single, she said that she wouldn’t answer the question because she has a rule not to talk about her personal life.

“But again, I can understand it from an objective point of view why people are interested and again, it’s not really in my day-to-day reality,” said Brown. “I understand it, it’s human nature…everyone wants gossip. It doesn’t really bother me too much I don’t really pay attention to it.”

An insider claims Brown met Hemsworth through mutual friends just a few weeks before they were seen together. Even though the relationship is new, the source said they were “getting on great,” and they have a lot in common.

“Both being Aussies, their love for the beach and the fact that they share careers has bonded them,” the source explained. “They are a very cute couple.”

While Liam Hemsworth is “definitely interested” in Maddison Brown, fans shouldn’t expect their relationship to move as fast as Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson’s. And, they probably won’t be posting pics and videos with each other on social media.
